    Disappointing, Frustrating and Cold

    To say that my husband and I are disappointed with our experience today would be an understatement. After driving from Derbyshire to see a white convertible E class Mercedes, and after calling earlier in the week regarding the vehicle, the service we received was shockingly bad. The car itself seemed fine bar the expected scuffs on the alloys (second hand car so nothing surprising at all) and the style of car in white is the car my husband wants for his short commute to work. I asked a few questions about the soft roof (as I know they can need replacing after seven years or so and it’s something which would be a boon if it had been taken care of well) and received minimal response. Every time I tried to communicate I got a short and indifferent answer. I’ll be honest and say the coldness didn’t match the experiences I read about on here. The real kick in the teeth came when I asked my husband if he liked it enough that test drive it. The salesman/owner told me he was only going to let us test drive it with him if we were serious and the ‘cash was on the table’ then we could drive it. As if anyone in their right mind would make an offer on a car they haven’t even seen drive around, and a convertible when they haven’t seen the roof function! I said that we would not make an offer on a car which we had not test driven and got the same tired sales technique of mystery online buyers just waiting to ****** it up. Needless to say we left. I called earlier this week and the car was there and it remained there today so my guess is that this was a lie. I’m not sure if it was that the owner assumed we couldn’t afford the price (ironic as we arrived in my car which cost more than the one we were seeing and we literally have the cash in our account to avoid any finance and would have paid the asking price as long as the engine sounded good, car drove well and roof seemed fine) or that we were a *** couple which brought out this bizarre hostile attitude bought I’d rather drive a

    Dear respected anonymous reviewer, first and foremost I do not have any problem with who you are or what your sexual preferences are please allow me to make that very clear. 2 males came to view a vehicle and did not carry a sign informing me of their sexual preference - both wore trousers so we could not establish who was the husband and who was the wife, please forgive me I am not psychic. Secondly a 2015 Mercedes-Benz convertible will certainly not need a roof replacing after 7 years and that is a fact, they may occasionally need service or repair but definitely not need replacing, I suggest you learn the facts before assuming maybe call Mercedes-Benz UK and ask for facts. There were 84 pictures of the vehicle in the advert showing the car from different angles both inside and outside, roof up and roof down so you were well aware roof goes up and down. Your questions were answered keeping it short accurate and honestly as I do not give the sales jargon to customers but rather keep it short and to the point. Upon asking for a test drive we asked you couple of questions which is standard policy, it was at this moment your attitude and level of respect given to me changed and I am only human therefore may react. Thank you for saying our car looked good other than age related cosmetic marks, We as a business work very hard in testing our vehicles by driving them for at least 100 miles before we sell them, that is what has given us the reputation and feedback we have today so rest assured any car purchased from Rose Motors has been fully tested and only up for sale once we are satisfied it has passed our checks and is worth passing onto our potential customers.     Really pleased with my experience at Rose Motors,Sara and Ajmal were so helpful inviting me into there home to finish off the paperwork,after purchasing My Jaguar xf,thanks once again for the coffee and biscuits Sara.Ajmal couldnt have done more for me,showing great patience when i was asking the same questions over again.So thank you both once again,the car is beautiful,and everything i hoped for,i really enjoyed my drive home back to Wirral.

    Great Seller

    I brought a BMW 318D 6 months ago with Rose Motors and I cannot recommend him enough. After 12000 miles the ABS driveshaft rings were corroded and caused a common fault on the BMW. I had quotes of changing the whole driveshaft upwards of £1400 but after speaking to Rose Motors, he sourced the ABS rings and took me to his garage where the fault was fixed for £80. Cannot recommend him enough.

    Absolute pleasure dealing with Rose Motors, honest upfront provided first class customer service. Purchased car yesterday through their click and collect service, was very scared and hesitant purchasing this way as I did really want to view and test prior to purchasing however due to COVID-19 this was not possible. Car looked great in pictures- well presented Still was not confident enough to pay thousands of pounds without viewing it after all I am not buying a book. seller reassured me the car has not got a mark on the bodywork and interior has just been valeted and mechanically it was very good, he reassured me it had been fully tested, Seller emailed all information. Said if you purchase the car and it was not as described he would refund in full including delivery charges. After discussing this with my partner over 3 days decided to buy, the car was delivered the next day and it was exactly as he said. Really pleased with service ans honesty I love my new car.
